bitcommet won't remove it's self

ok i remved bitcommet from my pc now i have bt lite but now i can't download anything unless i go to my cumputer and find the file when i download a torrent it says open with btcommet thats the only question that comes up how do i remove it

Did you try the uninstall shield or did you go into Add/Remove Programs?

Sometimes, you have to do both, and EVEN delete the folder in the startup menu.

i did, i had BitTornado running at the time, could that cause a problem?

That might be the issue, I would make sure that in the Task Manager you kill the program as well.
