Using DVD decrypter i have got various scenes from my dvd collection that i want to put onto a single dvd. the important thing is that the audio MUST be in dd or dts. i hae tried using my dvd writing software to just drag the VOB file onto the disc, but this doesnt work, my dvd player wont recognise the disc, nor will my laptop when i put it back in the drive.

Anyone have any ideas?

Are you trying to join several different scenes together? If so check out the guide at my website called <Join 2 movies using DVD Shrink> This will allow you do do what you are trying to do. Link is in my signature.

yeah, i dont think audio gets touched by these apps.

remember though that a lot of people's setups at home cant play DTS as you need a DTS amp.

i always add both 5.1 & DTS as a couple of my mates cant handle DTS when i take disks round to watch.

rip all the sections to your HD using dvdshrink - if you re-author you can select start/stop points and just select the scenes you need.

then, do another project and pull those scenes accross in re-author mode... check the guides as im sure bbmayo has a tutorial on this...

nothing... apart from the fact that Nero recode isnt as user friendly and doesnt have ripping support.. i will miss dvdshrink as it gets more out of date...

nero isnt bad... just could be a lot better
