actual film when ripped is 3 gig?

When i ripped my film (ice age) the actual movie size (vobs,ifos etc)is around 3 gig,does this mean i can put it on 1 dvd easily,if so can someone tell me how.

Yes u can.
dvd can hold 4.3Gb of actual info the remainder (0.4) is required as burning overheads required by the sfotware that does it.
As for how, need to know what software you have.

I have done this one using the following:
Dvd decryptor(whole disc)
Ifoedit (stipped/streamed unwanted extras etc)
Nero v 5.5.9.17.
** when burning used:
udf/iso udf 1.02
made VIDEO_TS/AUDIO_TS folders
dragged all into VIDEO_TS folder and burned.

Lovely jubbly.
