Maybe it's just your reader. MTF won't be released to the general public until the 19th. I think your jumping the gun and making perhaps unwarrented assumptions.

My god!! Here we go again... Aren't you people getting tired of posting everytime you get a new movie? Wait for the updates from Decrypter and AnyDVD then try again when you are legally supposed to own the movie. I would say some time around the 20th might be a safe bet. :-)

Ditto, bbmayo. I don't think I can make any suggestions until I decide whether or not to buy it.

Probably using a cheap pirated Asian copy - quality control very marginal.

@colw - i have copied from quite a lot of these type of copies (off eBay etc, usually on crappy media). Not one have i been unable to copy, some even needed a bit of faffing about, but no big deal. Makes you wonder how each time a (legitimate) film is released, why so many ppl post that they can't copy them; it's beyond me!

And by the time films come out here in the UK, we've had to endure months of repetitive posts about fictitious new protections/supposedly uncopyable films etc etc

Anyone would think it's a kind of deliberate advertising for these films so such a hoo-hah is created that everyone wants the film regardless of if it's even any good. lol just being cynical :)

Heehee, and that is why I can never start a thread about new copy protection, because the time it becomes released into the UK (officially), there has already been a solution for it.........lovely.

And of course these threads always make interesting reading..........

Just sit back and wait.............................ah!!!!!!!

Let not your hearts be troubled...using the tools that were all found on AD I was able to make "back ups" of MTF weeks ago.

To answer your question (at least in my opioion) about Meet the Fockers before it's released. I know the blockbuster here where I live gets the releases about 2 weeks before the "public" release date. The managers and employees get to take them home and watch them during this time period. So if you "know" someone, you may be able to get a copy of the released dvd before the release date.

I myself don't bother with Screeners or Ebay copies. Just wait on the real thing.

Cheerio.

I quite agree with baabaa "Just sit back and wait...!!!" Be it newbies, members, senior members, junior members, addicts and the like, by the time I get the movie, the back up solution has already been worked out. I have no problems backing up my movies, so you'll not see very many posts from me. I do like to read and I have been reading various AD forums for a long time and I'm still a newbie.
Thanks George

He or she, is probably laughing at the way we always turn these types of posts into something funny.

However, I do think the 'ragging' needs to cease as the topic is turning into general 'chit chat'.
I for one am guilty...........................

I say the thread gets held until the release date and then re-open it and see if there is indeed something to chat about..............

Definitely. No one can post any definitive answers about an unreleased movie, everything now is just speculation.

Well something interesting to note. This movie is made by universal studios. They are known to use the arcoos protection format made famous a few months back in the notebook and some other movies. I would assume that could be the issue. We will see.

Heehee, maybe someone should email Universal and tell them, we have already cracked their movie before it has even been released..............that would make an interesting board meeting on Monday morning..............

I see a page and half of Flocker's at my favorite Torrent site. Anything is up for grabs on the internet or eButt.

Yes I said the e word. I bought a pirated copy of some software. When I tried to get satisfaction, Pay PAL (an eButt company) told me after a month of e-mails that I should have known I what I was buying. Case closed. I could have gone to the law but they would just get the smuck who sold it and not eButt. They could use some mods like ours.
