Hello, I am very new to this whole CD backup scene. I was wondering what type of burner should I buy,what type of CD's to buy, what type of burning software to use, and how to do it. I know most of the steps, but what I also wanted to know, is if I can use a codebreaker or action replay to load the game instead of a gameshark. I was also wondering if I could put a small DVD-r game onto a CD-r. Thanks

Lite-On 1673s dvd burner(I think mine is 1633s, so if you find that one, even better I guess). Taiyo Yuden media dvds to burn on. Swap Magic Disks to boot the backups. Yeah, you can put DVD-R games to CD-R with some modifications, but why bother if you are gonna buy a dvd-burner. Once you get your dvd-burner, update the firmware. You cans use a very important free program called DVD-Decryptor, get that. N-e-thing else, just ask...
