Can anyone tell me whats wrong
heres what i did
MY DISC: Velocity DVD-R
MY BURNER: I/O MAGIC
1. I downloaded a movie from isohunt or a bittorrent file
2. I finished the download
3. I open NERO EXPRESS 3
4. I open the file and add it to my burn list
5. Fits good on a 4.7
6. Burnt it
7. Successfully burnt movie
8. It doesnt play in my dvd burner or my dvd player
WHATS WRONG
probably cheapy media, too high a burn speed, out of date firmware on burner, DMA being off, multitaskng during burn, or combination of thse things. Post relevant section of Nero log minus your serial number which usually begins with 1A21 or similar. You say Nero Express (i use Burning Rom) so i don't know exact location of your logfile. Mine is in c:\program files\ahead\nero\nerohistory.txt (it's appended to so only poste the last section if that's the one that failed - don't forget to cut out serial number)
- yours would appear initially to be the top one on the list, which has a decent media code, so the disc MIGHT be ok. And they appear to be 4x so i guess your'e burning at 4x. Freezing during encoding could be a few things. Let's start with Nero log.

ah, i think i see where squizzle's going with this; either way i missed something obvious...
@geeunit19 - when you went to burn in Nero, did you pick burntype of 'dvd-video' . If not that could be why it didn't work. You have to use dvd-video for it to work properly...
