i was wondering what is the diffrence and my pc has PCI slots will i be able to use PCI exspress cards? here the pc i have http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?docname=c&dlc=en&lc=en&cc=us&product=435559 i heard PCI exspress is better than x8 AGP is this true also?

In short, your current pc can't be equipped with PCIe cards. PCIe (= PCI Express) cards requires differend kind of slot compared to "old" PCI, hence you would need new kind of motherboard which would be equipped with pci-e slots.

Technically speaking, look out this link ( http://www.viperlair.com/articles/editorials/pcie/ ) for the further technical details about pci-e compared to old pci and agp.

In current gamewolrd, pci-e doesn't - yet - offer that overwhelming performance over agp8x, since bandwidth limitiations rarely hit. This of course changes in the future....
