I have a 16X double layer Sony DRU 700A. Right now I have a 90%+ coaster rate. I've done everything suggested and have narrowed it down to either the media (I've tried two different quality brands) or the drive it self.

Anyone tried Sony CheckDrive Diagnotic Tool on thier web sight? Is it worth while?
