Ok guys, I finally decided to register since I'm having one HELL of a time getting my computer to recognize my phones.

I can get MPT to see my t730, but not my v265. Even after updating all the way. And it won't download ring tones from the t730. My whole attempt is to transfer the ring tones I bought from my old phone to the new one.

So anyways, P2Kman will not see either phone, and PST 6.7 makes the t730 beep as if it sees it but not the v265, but I can't see any way to download/upload. Tried loading pst then p2kman, but it still doesn't see it.

Now for the kicker... I bought the snapdialer cable from radio shack... I just read somewhere that it usually doesn't work? Also, while using the usb cable, it sets up a com 4 device, but nothing else ever tries to install as described in many posts explaining installations. Manually installing devices is also fruitless. BTW I'm using XP w/SP2.

Could it just be that I have a posessed cable? What if I split the cable to bypass that damned little box in the middle? Or should I just hunt down another standard cable without the little box and burn the one I have? :p

Any help... would be greatly appreciated.
