I have both, but it appears that whenever I save a torrent it automaticly opens in Azureus. I guess this is because Azureus has some Bittorrent aplicant or something like that.
So Bittorrent is basactly usless, so Ill uninstall it. Unless is someone could tell me if Bittorrent is better (faster downloader) then Azureus, then ill deleat Azureus instead.
I like BitComet a lot and I think it's been gaining more popularity lately. I've heard about Azureus but didn't like the memory-usage with my older pc, I'm sure it's great though.
BitTornado is good.. Also, unlike Auzerius (or whatever the heck it is called), BitTornado will work on a Windows 98 machine. I use a 2nd computer on my home network to get torrents a lot of the time (though right now I am getting "The 4400" 1st episode using my main XP machine). The second computer is a P3 and running Windows 98 SE.
BitTornado also has a colored light status system (I guess others do too). Green light and all is good - if it stays yellow - no good, blocked ports in your router most likely.
You can set BitTornado to use any ports - you are not stuck like with BitTorrent that needs to use (I think) 6881 - 6889. If you want 17133, you can use just it, or a range 17133-17135, whatever....
As with any of 'em I guess, max upload speed should be set in the program to 80% of what your ISP tells you that you should get.
dammmm - that program Auzerius!! I can never remember the spelling - stupid idea for a name!!
