Spanglish problem on Mac w/Mac the Ripper and DVDBackup

I'm having the same problem with Spanglish that others reported. I'm using a Mac G4 and have tried both Mac the Ripper and DVDBackup. It hangs up on vob file 7_1 and the problem is "Bad sector 7680."

Anybody else out there using a Mac with these tools?
