I've been at it for hours trying to download a 2.8 gig file. I turned off Windows Firewall (The only firewall I have) plus I don't have a router..i don't know what is causing the problem because there are over 50 seeders out there....and my download speed is 10-15kb/s on Azureus. BTW i have Verizon Dsl with an external westell 2200 modem...Any help would be appreciated.

ok i had the same kind of problem the thing is it vould be your isp, and i don't think they will do anything my isp has not commented about this so i am kind of stuck 2

Hm I think the prob is port fowarding now that i read other threads on this website....the prob for me is that i don't know the pass and the user to my modem :/

I managed to get the speed up to 50-70 KB/S..it was port fowarding i just did not realize that the modem was a router as well...just type in http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar and if you haven't configured your modem for Westell 2200 the user is admin and pass is password then follow the insructions here-
