Hey folks,

Like most dudes on these forums, I'm lookin to purchase my first DVD stand alone recorder.

After having a check online I found this particular model with the built in hard drive, are these hard drive types of recorder advisable? From the specs on scan.co.uk it seems decent (though no way to connect to PC, are there any models which can connect to PC?)

Does anyone have a decent review of this ellion brand, as I can't seem to find many reviews which go into detail.

I am UK based hence alternate suggestions of DVD recorders to buy would need to be available in the UK. Any advise or ideas would be totally welcome.
