i'm hoping that some one can help me out here.

i bought a panasonic E55 last august,everything was okay until
2 weeks ago,it no longer accepts the blank dvds i use ( ridisc )
( datawrite )( verbatim ,i've tried other makes of dvds but none of them work,i phoned up the panasonic helpline and they just said to me that this dvd recorder only records on panasonic,jvc and tdk
blank dvds,i told them i was able to record on the those other discs for 8 months,does anyone know if they are taking the piss by saying
this,if i had known this before i got the recorder ( 300 pounds )
i would not have bought it

does anyone have the panny E55 recorder,if so what blank dvds do you
use.
