hi there

Can anyone help i have just ripped a hired copy of bad company and I have ripped many films now following guides from doom
and my problem with this movie is after the transcoding of the movie using rempeg.

I am encoding at a ratio of 72% which allows me to keep everything on the DVD and allow it to fit upon a DVD 5 evrything is fine except with odd chapters of the film the picture becomes blocky and fluctuates. Am i right in thinking that the movie might have different bit rates of higher Quality for certain chapters?
Which would mean after 72% which is quite low I know would be to much for these chapters . I could quite happily keep the film accross two DVD and I will if this has to be, but, just thought id ask the forum if anyone has ever come accross this sort of a problem.

its rempeg2 without a doubt.
when i used it i always had this problem as soon as i went below 80%.
i changed to cce and never looked back.

there is only a demo version for download do you know where u can get a copy of it full blown and also how to use it would be nice
