Hi,

Here is the problem: My desk top is slowly driving me nuts! It's not a new one but a pretty good old machine. It's a 600Mhz cpu with 256 meg of memory. One of the two drives is 120 gb and the other is 6 gb. The larger drive went nuts on me and would not or will not let me make a new connection to the internet. I have done this countles times without trouble in the past. But now, when I get to the "name" to be used on the connection, a pop up box says the name must be without spaces and cannot start with a period. It does not make any difference what name you use, it always comes back to the same. So, I use the samller drive to access the NET. Can I transfer the operating system from one drive to anotherwithout destroying all my files on the larger drive? Both systems are windows 2000. I prefer to use the larger drive as the basic drive but it is messed up and will not co-operate. Any ideas out there? Thanks to whom ever answers,

Olgdog
