V220 MP3 wont play when selected as ringtone

I used P2kman to transfer a MP3 to my phone. It worked fine, and it plays when in the sound folder, but if I select it as my ringtone it doesnt play when someone calls me. The screen says ringing, but no sound is played.

It is about 43 sec long, ~700kb if that matters.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

jus restart yor phone when u assign the ring tones it should work after u do that i had the same problem that helped me out

Just tried to resend it, then I powered it down and tried to call it. It still didnt ring.

Im gonna try a different MP3

Ok whateber jay 919 said wont work at all, i had the same problem before and the way to solve it is to ope up p2kman and acess the audio folder, in that folder there are 2 temp folders, delete both of those and restart the phone, your v220 will detect the lose of those 2 files and replace them giving you acess to your ring detail folder again thus lettin you set your mp3s that you put in as ring tones
