In the UK we have a set top box to receive Digital TV through a wall mounted antenna.Aswell as the standard cables that connect all components to one another we also have the option to use a 'scart' lead to connect which is made up of 21 different wires for, audio, video etc which improves the overall quality.

To my problem - I've got the Digital box connected to VCR and directly to TV (for when VCR is off) a connection also from VCR to TV (to view recordings). I would now like to add a DVD recorder to this but with all the cables and a lack of practice in these matters I would appreciate some help.
I suppose its not necessery any longer for the VCR to connect to Digital box the DVD can now do this, but I need the VCR to the TV to watch the old recordings.

Sorry if its abit long but I tried to explain in detail.

Thanks. Swog.
