i dont know much about video cards but i was loookin for a new one to play games better with......my ? is this card 6800gt worth the $300 cuz i was lookin at some of the geforce 6800gts and they are all like 375 and 400 bucks? is there somethin wrong or is it not as powerful as the other?

it looks like a good card, New Egg is the place to go to get the best deals, but you should look that card up on http://www.pricewatch.com , maybe there are other places that might have it cheaper.

check some of the benchmark websites.

there are quite a few variations in price and quality of 6800 cards.
the difference between a $300 card and a $375 card could be very small whereas the difference between a $350 and a $370 card could be pretty large.
sometimes the higher price is there to cover the 'free' software included.

sometimes the price difference is there just because the company is trying to confuse you and get more money.

one of them sites should cover your card somewhere so check its benchmark results against the higher priced cards. sometimes you will find your paying $70 more and you will get like 3fps extra in your games.
