Here's the problem, i just bought a Toshiba vhs/dvd recorder combination to connect it to my tv, i would like to make a copy of a vhs tape to a dvd, but the vhs tape is protected with macrovision. I know there are ways around this with use of devices such as 'dvd red' which plugs into the back of one of the units, but will this work on my setup(since both the vhs and dvd are built into 1 unit???) Do you need 2 seperate units(a vhs player and a dvd player) to make this work?? Will i need to buy another vcr, connect a microvision disabler to it and then connect it to my vcr/dvd recorder? Has anyone out there tried this?? Any help with these problems will be much appreciated.
