xp doesnt recognise sony DW-D22A burner.

Hi

just got a sony DW-D22A cd dvd writer but i cant get xp to recognise it. do i need to download a driver? cant seem to find a driver anywhere on the net. any help much appreciated!

Make sure that the ribbon cable is plugged in, properly and that the master/slave configuration of the drive, is correct.
