Hi, I wonder is someone can help me. I have installed and successfully use the external USB2 case housed Pioneer DVR-108 (running latest FW120B firmware)with my IBM Laptop running Windows XP SP2 I have burned tons of DVDs and Audio CDs. ....BUT I have one problem...when I power off the Drive or(as Microsoft recommend) use the "safely remove hardware" icon, the whole USB subsytem hangs - then can't use printers etc. Windows explorer still sees the DVR drive but when I try to access, issues a message saying the device has been moved and is unaccessible.
Only way now to resolve is to reboot. So if I use my DVR-108 drive (by simply switching on - XP recognises the USB Mass Storage device)I have to then leave it on until I shutdown the Laptop.
Has anyone had this problem with this or any other drive and how did you fix the problem?
Many thanks
John, Scotland
