i patched tekken 5 with the patch from ps2nfo. i used ppfomatic and i used the rebuilding guide and patched the product but i get forgein image when burning and then when i put the disc in the ps2 it goes to ps2loader screen then what?

I'd like to help, but I haven't even heard the need to patch/rebuild this game. I used Nero and copied it just fine.

I had the exact same thing.
My backup works but not for devil within - or the classics.

When I patched it, I got a ps2loader screen, I pressed X and got a selection 1. Main game 2. Devil Within

Whichever you choose, none of them load.--Please insert real PS2 disc.

Anybody know what to do with it??????

if you use swapmagic, then slide tool or flip lid to dvdloader, press x, wait for dvd loader to load, then x again, select 5v2 or any other option that might work using x, then eject the dvdloader, reinsert swapmagic, then press x, wait for it to say use EA method (slide card or flip lid), press x and it will give you the multiboot option for tekken 5 (or devil within) then press x and it will finally load.

I had some trouble burning a working copy of tekken5 but i found if you save the iso image in DVD Decrypter then open Alcohol 120% go to image burning wizard find your select your file & when i did it there was 2 files 1st time around i just burned the iso file but that didnt work so what i did was highlighted the mds file right click & then add to dvdimage.rar then burned it with Alcohol 120% @ 2x & ding dang do.No patching needed & all modes work.

I cannot get my PAL version to work. With my patched backup, it just wont play! Just keeps going to PS2Loader. My unpatched backup lets me play all modes except Devil Within, or the classics

Please help
