OOPS! Looks like I initially tried a post in the wrong forum. I'll try here. I've made 200+ back ups with my Nu Tech DDW-082 but it's time to move on to a dual layer burner. Also, for some reason, my Nu Tech won't read CD_Roms any more so I can't play my adventure games with it. My set up is a P4 Northwood 2.4, 1 Gb RDRAM, Intel 82801A IDE controller,Intel Application Accelerator. I'm torn between the Plextor 716 and the NEC 3520A. DVD Decryptor and DVD Shrink are my software of choice and have served me well. Any suggestions based on your prior experience with either of these drives on a similar setup would be greatly appreciated.
