i solve my problems. here's how i did it:
1. uninstall MPT and delete all the file possible in the sys.
2. i plug in V3 to pc and have the pc detect it.
3. then i when to "device" and add the V3 in as modem.
4. unplug the phone after above process.
5. install MPT version 1.xx.
6. then install MPT 3.11 w/o plug V3 to the pc in btw.
7. after installation. open the MPT.
8. plug phone in when they tell u to plug in.
9. less than 30sec. i will have the "FACE" of the phone pop-up on the screen.
10. then click menu, and get to "tools" then multimedia.
11. choose the file u need to transfer.
12 then click transfer. it should have a box popup shows that file is transfering.

hope this will help to solve your problems.

alrite what you do is select the part of the song you want however much of it you want then if u look at the top left click on the thing that says save selection as then put it as a mp3 very important then cick save without naming it ten go to wherever you saved it mst likely my documents and rename it put watever name u want then go back to mpt and on my pc look for it then click transfer ad there you got youre ringtone
