SONY DRU-500AX DVD-RW help!!!

I have a Sony DRU-500AX with the latest firmware 2.1a and have successfully burned tons of DVD-Rs (TDX 8X) with DVD Decrypter. I am now trying to burn DVD-RWs and keep geting the following error: Failed to Reserve Track! - Cannot Write - Application Code Mismatch. I am using TDK 4X DVD-RW. Any help would be appreciated.
