Hi all i have been using BT, DC++,Ared Lite, for all my needs for a while now, however i have been hearing mixed reviews on newsgroups could any one tell me are they faster than bit torrent ? as i have a 4mgb connection i do get great speeds from BT i.e. 456kbs but i just want to know which is best ???

A premium usenet(newsgroup) server will probably be able to max out your connection, depending on where you live. With a 4Mb connection, you could probably expect to be able to download 500-600+ gigs a month, for about 15-25 dollars a month, depending on which company you go with. And depending on your interests, you could definitely find enough stuff each month to actually download that much. Here is a good guide if you want to know more about usenet:

i realy dont want to pay for access to apremium server, what if i just stayed with my ISP newsgroups ? or would i just be better staying with BT
