For anyone out there who has had problems with Nero Recode or any other program, check this program out.

http://www.pspvideo9.com/

This program is a great video encoding tool for PSP. It can accept multiple input formats. It has a great "Profile Picker", which depending on the size of your Memory Stick Duo, helps you pick the best settings resulting in the best output quality. Theres to many other things to list on here, so check it out for yourself.

Best of all its FREE.

Does PSP Video 9 create a full screen video? The same size as the UMD movies available? I used Nero Recode 2 and the screen size is much smaller than the UMD movie Hellboy I purchased. Also the audio is not as loud. Recode is simple though and does a great job except for the two things I mentioned. Maybe if I play with the adjustments I can get the desired results.

I'm interested to hear how the PSP Video 9 movie looks on the PSP.

Thanks!

I got PSP Video 9 to create great results on my PSP. I used the 368 x 208 setting, which creates a large file - but it looks great! I was hoping to fit two movies on my Sony 1 GB, so I may have to go for a lower video quality setting.

Wish I could afford that 4 GB Sony card!

I'm playing about with this program, as I've still to get my 1gb Memory card, and ask one question;

which setting do you use for the best picture quality when transcoding the file.

320x240 or 368x208 and how many fps, and bits???

Too many choices for me!
