Converting MPEG2 to DVD Format

I have used TMPGEnc to convert my VCD Dat files to MPEG2 NTSC format. I have merged all of the pieces into a very nice movie, over 4 hours long. I have cut and edited out the crap and the stops and starts between disc's. I couldn't be happier with the end result. What I want to do now is convert the MPEG2 file to the DVD format of Video_TS and Audio_TS, burn them onto a DVD+RW (I have the HP 100i) and enjoy it on my home theater system. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

You need to author the DVD, using some authoring software like Primo Prassi, DVDIt, etc and burn it using Nero (or if your authoring tool has burning feature, use that one).

Btw. You don't need to re-encode your clips (and weaken quality), you can actually use VCD clips as they are and put them to DVD-/+R(W) -- you just need to re-encode the audio to 48kHz, but video can stay the same.
