Okay my Toshiba ODD-DVD SD-R5272 DVD burner started closing itself within about 5secs after I open it about 2 months ago, I figured it wasnt a problem and that it was quite amusing so I let it be...

About 2 weeks ago when I open it it makes some kind of grinding noise, and now i cant finalize dvds or cds with it for some reason...

Has someone had this problem before, if so how can I fix it?
