Hey all, I need help with getting a sound card and I was thinking about grabbing this sound card.

I hadn't heard of that particular brand, but the specs sound ok. I usually get Sound Blaster, but that is probably just a holdover from the old DOS days of 10 yrs ago when you needed a Sound Blaster for compatibility.
The one thing I have seen problems with in cheaper cards is if you try to use them for audio recording, sometimes they have poor ASIO driver support for programs that support it like Cubase, Reason, etc. Even Creative's cards fall short in that respect, sampling at 44khz and upsampling to 48. It also seems like if you have more than 2 ASIO streams you get a lot of interference.

i wanna (im really wishing) create a surround sound for gaming and maybe watching some movies but just gaming.
