Has anyone got any new links on what are the connection links to the new Xbox 360
And is there much possibility that the Xbox 360 going to be easier to Mod than the original Xbox?

I dunno but it better have some great encryption if they're going to charge people money to download new levels and such. No one wants to pay for that stuff. Expect a million new 360 hack sites coming soon.

Uh, what do you think they do with Xbox live? Make you pay for extra lvl's and extra material in game.... Same exact thing and nobody is getting into that stuff I think they are doing a fairly good job of stopping modders... Of course mine is modded no problem... But I still cant get on live with burnt games and I cant get live material unless I own the real game... So there doing something right as for being easyer to mod HA no... we arent dealing with sega here. Microsoft is the biggest piracy hater. Plan 1 is building plan 2 is stoping piracy it always has been.

This system is gonna be soo integrated with xbox live it would ruin your gaming experience to mod it and be banned from live. I for one won't be modding this system, unless they come down in price and I can keep one as my live system, otherwise no way.

Yea M$ has the best defense against modding this time around: Kickass online play.
I can't wait to play PDZ online. That looks really really really really good.

Wait till third party online communities develop their own xbox gaming community. Once it rivals Microsoft live then no one will care if their modded 360 will not be allowed on Xbox live.

XBConnect is a tunneling program which tricks the Xbox into thinking there are people on a system link with you, but infact these people are online.

me and my friends have used both XLink Kai and XBConnect on our XBoxes with very limited success. We can play games against strangers online, but have never been able to host games or play with our own select group of friends. No one on either forum has ever been a bit of help to us in trying to get it working. They just tell us how "easy" it is to set up and use, and for us to "go read the instructions"... as if we hadn't tried absolutely everything we could think of to get it working! It makes XBox Live extremely tempting....

That's good to know, everyone usually talks about XBConnect as it really can replace XBOX live and is good to have someone point some of it flaws.

I have a chipped xbox (http://storage.msn.com/x1p4JHjVbcjTC_-7xVqgPJYFobUX3kBzKG6pislrMR...) with swappable hard drives so I turn off the chip and use the factory hdd for xbox live and use my 160 gb hdd with the chip turned on for xlink kai. Xlink Kai is integrated into xbmc (xbox media center) and is pretty easy to navigate once you use it for a few hours. Xlink Kai is the way to go if you have a soft modded or hard modded box. I have better success with pings and finding people with a good connection than I used to have with xbconnect. I havent played on xbconnect in awhile but it seemed that more poeple played the original halo as opposed to Xlink Kai where everyone plays Halo 2, Ghost Recon, or Rainbow Six.
Navigating through Xlink seemed to be more user friendly when controlling it from the PC compared to Xbconnect. Let me know if you still need some help Angstmann.
