I haven't heard anybody mention this before, but doesn't anybody else think that a perfect accessory for the PSP would be a camera attachment that sits in the mounting holes on top of the PSP plugging directly into the USB port and being able to take photos saved directly to the Memory Stick. It almost looks designed for this application.

A camera like the one attached to the top of the Sony micro-Vaio screens, that can be pointed toward or away from the holder. And with the wireless connection, you could even use it for video conferecing or even as a videophone, with an earpiece/microphone combo that could be plugged into the control port...

Just a thought....

It wouldn't be any good if they made a camera to psp. Same crappy quality as cameras in cellphones have (camera in a cellphone -- the worst invention ever!). I'd rather take pictures with my small 7,1mpix canon.

There's no real reason why they couldn't make it a decent megapixel camera attachment, except that it might take market share away from their own cybershots. Even just 2.0 megapixel would be great. But the BIG advantage would be the videophone opportunity! My g/f and I live in different countries at times and always use webcams, but the portability of this would be GREAT!

Ever since i saw that little photo icon on my psp i thought about that, i sure hope they do it. I'd love to have a little camera there cus my psp goes everywhere and that would be so useful, then i'd have a gaming system, internet (from wipeout pure),a movie and music player, ANd a camera all in my purse!
