hi, i just installed a new version of xp on my laptop, iv got a sony vaio pcg-grt815e, and since that it cant detect my modem or my soundcard or/and its drivers, also the screen isnt running properly, its just worse quality and windows don't run smoothly over it, its very boxy. but the sound card is the biggest problem because i cant get sound from its speakers or headphones so if any body can help me out it'd be really appreciated

don't you have a recovery cd or something like that as it will have the drivers you need or goto the sony site to download the drivers
