Adding video to DVD+RW

I'm new to DVD authoring and am starting with the simple programs like My DVD 4.0. I've had great luck with it so far but want to add additional movies to the DVD+RW after the original burn.
When I try I'm told that the disc contains data and do I want to overwrite it. If I say no, I'm prompted to put a new disc in.
Is there a way around this?

If you have the space, you could always save the data on the disc, add your movie(s) to it, and rewrite it. I personally do not use rw, do past that I can not tell you.
