CD Loader strange problem

i believe my ps2 is version 1.1, so i download the shining tears cd loader for V6 and below from swapmagicfix.com. It shows the instructions and what prompts should appear. the thing is... i put the swam magic cd loader in. then i put the cd loader for shining tears in and press X. It spins really like for a few seconds and stops then pink borders appear. anyone know how i can get shining tears to work? or should i get the newer 3.2 sm? im trying to use my 2.0

Make sure that the backup you're using is the same one that the CD Loader was meant for. Sometimes the fixes are made specifically for certain scene releases, often, they're made for 1:1 copies.

So, if you downloaded the game, that may be the reason why. I'm not really familiar too well with Swap Magic 2.0 (I use Swap Magic 3.3) but that may be a factor as well.

Keep asking, and keep bumping this thread, and eventually someone will have the answer (even though I don't)
