Hi there, I'm rather new to the client Azureus but I'm very satisfied with its performance so far until recently one fine day when I found out that its dl speed has plummeted frm a usual 60-70kb/s to less than 1kb/s with tops 5kb/s(OMG). I'm sure the problem is not with the tracker as the seeds and peers ratio are 9(153) & 68(1042) respectively. I tried other dls like some very popular animes and the speed is also abt the same. My friend helped me open up the ports in the range of 6881-6889, configured the firewall to allow Azureus thru, but all these proved to be fruitless. I really have no idea what had happen as I swear I did not touch any of the config in the program itself. But 1 thing tho this seems to happen after my latest Norton update. Cld it be because of this? Plz help I'm really going crazy here! Thx!

Hi there, thx for the tip. I tried some of the methods like changing the port number frm the default 6881 to a few higher numbers and since I'm using a router and a firewall(not Winxp), I did some port forwarding for these few port numbers. Tried dling an extremely popular anime of which under normal circumstances wld haf taken me mere 20-30mins 2 finish, however the dl speed has not much improve. I deselected the UPnP option and make sure there is no NAT error already, made sure my upload speed has at least 25kb/s, not much improvement. Anything else I might have missed out? Thx!

if it was fine before you updated your nortons, maybe uninstall both programs , then try your file sharing one again with out nortons running to see if thats whats causing the conflict.
