Hope someone out there can help me ! :(

I have a Sharp Aquos LC-32GA5E 32" LCD, and seem to be having a few problems with playing back certain DVD's. My player is a PAL SONY Multi Region.

Retail DVD's seem to look fine, and ones I have backed up myself (all been R2) have looked fine also. But certain copied DVD's I have tried, which all seem to be NTSC and more than likely slightly compressed too seem to cause strange displays, such as weird lines appearing over peoples heads and bodies, especially when there is movement, almost like a trail.

I've tried this on 2 different DVD players, and seems to be the same on both

I hope someone else has come across this, or could shed some light, would be much appreciated, thanks :D
