Really, we need more details if you expect us to be able to help you.
Things like:
-method of copying & programs you're using?
-media brands?
-writer you have?
-do you get any sound?
-are you trying to play it on your computer [and with what software] or on a stand-alone player?
-did the original DVD-R contain AVI files [for which you might not have the right codec] or DVD-compliant VOB files?
I've copy a DVD-R to DVD+R but it won't let play the DVD. It comes a screen where I can either press enter to play moive or press enter to select different of chapters of the moive, but when I press enter there is just a black screen. Is there any other software that I can use to burn a DVD-r to DVD+r. Somebody give me some info?

Again, we need to know WHAT SOFTWARE you're currently using, in order to help you. And, if you can clue us in about these things... it would also put us in a position to help you:
