Is Win XP Nemesis a back-door app?

I downloaded several of these win xp packages including nemesis 3.0, nemisis 4.0, crazy xp, winborg xp. They are really nice. I have nem4 on a machine at home that is not hooked up to my network, and everything works really well. I want to hook it up to the internet but i'm afraid it might be a back door for a hacker. Does anyone know if is a back door?

the install gives you win xp plus a ton of other expensive apps and ultilites. I'm really curious, is this just a nice thing that some guy made for everyone, or is there some other incentive?
