I just got interested in projectors because I'm looking for a cheaper solution than a plasma or lcd tv. This projector will be the only form of tv in my room(which has 2 windows and is moderately lit) and I will be using it for the following...1)480i viewing of standard cable channels occasionally, 2)Playing Xbox360 at 720p or 1080i, and finally 3)watching DVD's in widescreen format. Price is not a concern right now because I won't be buying all of this for another 6-9 months when I get all my other equipment. All I need to know is the following specs I should look for:

1. Brightness rating for my moderately lit room(2 windows with shades, occasionally a dim light on)
2. Native screen format(4:3 or 16:9) and resolution
3. DLP or LCD? I have no preference either way, but whatever is best for application

NOTE: I WANT MY NATIVE RESOLUTION TO BE ABLE TO HANDLE 720p WITHOUT LOSING MUCH QUALITY(e.g. upscaling or downscaling to an extreme degree)
