Is there a patch I could use for x copy plat ver 4.0.3.8 so I can rip the latest encryption and still use the x-copy software? Thanks.

no ...... XCopy is way oout of date ..... I have not even loaded my XCopy Platnum as DVD Shrink does as good or better a job

your opptions .....
1. AnyDVD or something similar
2. Dvd Decrytor ..... DVD Shrink combo some such other combo

Programs that can be used with XCopy are DVD43 or AnyDVD.
