Hello.

I have been using .torrents for a while but have never come across a site that did not link to the torrent file.

Having finally found something I have been looking for, I also find a surprise. No .torrent file! Instead, I find the file title and an Info hash.

I have been using BitTornado for my .torrents but it seems to need one to start up and will not let me work with the hash.

Which client would you suggest using to download, from a hash? Does the hash give you a .torrent file or start downloading the actual file as though you had a .torrent ?

If you have a particular favourite client, can you suggest how best to optimise it for speed?

I use ABC(Another Bittorrent Client) It works great for me.

Thanks for answering, but neither of those brings me any closer.

I have used both of those but could not see where / how to enter the hash info, in order to download.

Please do tell me what I need to click.

Can you suggest how best to optimise your favourite for speed (ie what tweaks are, in your opinion, best)?

I have read the guides but did not see hash info.

Those are internet "accelerators".

I am looking for something that will allow me to download something from it's hashlink info, without an actual .torrent file.

Neither of them helps in that area and I am beginning to think you cannot download a torrent without the .torrent file.
