I asked these questions in another thread with no reply so maybe this is the correct thread to ask in.

Are Nintendo 64 roms and Nes roms the samethings?

Can the Ninteno 64 roms be emulated to play on Ps2?

They aren't the same. NES roms are Nintendo(NES) games and N64 roms are Nintendo 64(N64) roms. Two different systems. And no you can't play N64 roms on PS2 (I wish!).

*BTW this is the Nintendo Revolution area, not PS2 :)*

I guess I have alot of n64 roms that I cant do anything with.

Maybe I will emulate them on the PC.

you can emulate everything on xbox except gc and ps2.becuz xbox is a computer. i love xbox. sorry i know this is a nintendo forum. i love nintendo too.. but so far rvoloution dissapoints me. so does gamecube.. i sold mine... i still play n64 everynow and then. goldeneye...mmmm.... they dont make games like that very often anymore.. i dont know why nintendo would bother selling old games when anyone could get an emulator online and donload 1000+ games for free. i bought some emulator pack with 5 systems and like 8k games and i only paid like 20 bucks.... nintendo dissapoints me.

I downloaded the Project64 N64 emulator yesterday. Does anyone know if you can use the keyboard to play the games?

I'm sure it's too soon to know yet, but has anybody heard anything about if you'll be able to play your old roms on the revolution? Obviously Nintendo wouldn't like this, but if it's just a straight emulator, you should be able to... I've already gotten all the NES and SNES games on my pc, but it would be nice to be able to play them on the tv like they were meant to. :)

Also, any word on if they'll sell the old controllers? I bought a Sonic game for the Gamecube, and it just didn't feel right playing it with the GC controller!

i know that the revolution will have emulators. If there are actual physical drives to put discs in, just burn them from your hard drive. It might just play games from its hard drive, in which case you're screwed. I have a hunch that the Revolution controller will have different compatibility modes.

the ps2 can play the catridge games, but you need a DMS4 modchip with the Toxic BIOS upgrade burned to a DVD, or the Chipper Boot disc.

Yes,I believe that's exactly what he's saying. It won't beat the PS3. Nintendo's my dark horse in the race because no one knows much about it. Bird7 might be right.
