Im having a problem ive been using dvd decrypter for almost 2 yrs now and its has never given me any problem till now it wont detect any of the disc I insert in my hardrive then my computer will freeze completely, I also noticed that dvd43 was acting up im not sure if it has to do with that, so I uninstalled it but it was still freezing on me I need some help bad I have no idea what could be causing the problem, I have the latest dvd decrypter program also tried uninstalling it, then reinstalling it but nothing seems to work.The only programs i have on these xp computer is I copy dvds2, dvd43, and dvd decrypter. Would really appreciate any help Thanks
well here's how i do things. My rule is keep it simple. I use DVD Shrink for ripping 99% of my films, i do movie-only . for the rare film that Shrink can't handle due to newer copy protections , i use decrypter. and that's it , apart from Nero6 to burn. So, try closing down the other stuff and see how you go. You could even uninstall some of that stuff temporarily as long as you keep a note of serial numbers.
No I cant even put any dvds in my drive now, everything just freezes up, well im going to have to wipe out the computer i wonder caused it to do all this ive looked all ove to see if any threads have been started with this problem some people thing its DVD Decrypter and DVD43 have a conflict with each other but then again I always tried one without the other, Well thats weird well i really appreciate the help
Failing that, remove your drives and see if it still occurs, as it maybe more of a hardware issue.
If it still occurs with the drives removed, uninstall the proggies and recheck.
Failing that try another memory stick if you can..............
