I was wondering if anyone else has a printer they use to print the covers on their cds/dvds and at what settings they use, because my printer is not filling the entire disc with the image and leaves part of it blank (too small for the disc i guess).

My inner is set at 20 and outer is default (maybe I should change this?) on my Epson Print Cd software.

Thanks a lot for your time.

I use the Epson R300 to print discs second button down on left hand side sets up a picture of your choice on the disc. You have to click on it and drag all 4 sides of the picture to fit the size you need, left click and hold mouse button to re-position picture if required. Third button down says background with mouse pointer hovering on it will setup picture of your choice to completely fill disk face, you are unable to move picture with this selection.
Outer selection of printed area should be 118mm, inner setting should be 22mm if using hub printable discs and 44mm if using regular print area discs.
I hope this helps.

Thanks for the help Framit, I have the Epson r200 but its set up the same way on the software. I tried using the picture setting where you drag each part of the picture to fill the cd but it still didnt print the full disc (although it was better). I dragged each section beyond the disc to be safe, but it still doesnt print the botton fully so i think its something else.

Hi you could also check out the settings of the 8th. button down from the top. It allows some adjustment of the print position. Hit the reset button when that box opens up, mine is greyed out but shows 25mm in both boxes. I hope this info helps my printer worked flawlessly right out of the box.

I set mine to 118 outer/ 23 inner, than resize to fit. This should be appropiate.

Beltline, how do you resize to fit exactly once you have your settings? I will try to reposition the image also, but i think my outer settings might need to be at 120cm at least for some reason.

If this doesn't belong with advanced users then I guess i am confused about what does and doesn't. Where does this belong in your opinion?

Assuming you're using the Epson Print CD software that came with your printer. Click on the 8th icon to the left. It's the little yellow cd with red arrows pointing to the outer edges of the cd. When you click on that a box will pop up. Click on "Custom CD", then make the inner diameter 22 or 23mm. And the outer diameter 117 or 118 mm. Then click okay. Now reposition you image to fit within the new layout.
