Motorola V551 to-do list?

This phone has about a zillion features I don't want and not enough features that I do. I need to put text into my phone. The description of this phone says it had a to-do list, which is weak but at least SOMETHING, but I can find no such thing.

I've managed to sync addresses and calendar after I purchased the official Motorola cable and I could transfer multimedia, but what I need to transfer and look at is text. Any suggestions? Besides turning my text into a jpg.

It's a Cingular phone.
