Ok I made two dvd's when I play them on my perfectly fine dvd player,the sound and the footage were not in sync..Any ideas??..Could it be my burner??? Any help is appeciated!!!

It could be a number of things, to many programs running in the background of the computer,your antivirus like norton taking up to much resources,If using Nero it is famous for doing that, set priority level to high while burning.Or try another program to burn with,i use Roxio and have never had that problem with it.

nero is one of the worst offenders for putting audio/vid out of sync.:( in my experience,so i tend not to use it,
like metsrgood said

when this happens it can mean only a few things,
the files were corrupt in the first place
or the files have been stretched somehow
they can ne recified,but its a pain in the royal ass

were these movies off the net??

vso'dvixtodvd is very good for running avi' through,and can correct sometimes out of synch files,
my perference at the mo is mainconcept' mpeg converter,the tmpge's author
