ive a dell comp and with child messing it up i ended up reistalling xp. this has stopped me gaining access to all programs files etc on c drive they all atill there but i need to know how i can get them working again i tried a file recovery cd but no help as said if save to same drive could erase info but cant save to disc
please help

files you can access but programs have to be reloaded

once i reload from disc again will i be able to access the old files etc and will it not take up extra space. im not very good with comp except for the basics

should be able to access files but programs might have to be reloaded to work
