I have read through some of the forum including http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/189032 but still have no idea how to find the url to grab the video streams from

http://www.bbc.co.uk/broadband/mediawrapper/consoles/drwho/nb_rm_...

can anyone help please

Oh, this is a tough one.

Right click on Open in stand alone player link and Copy Shortcut.
Paste into most any Real Media Recorder.

Streaming media recording software list.

Thanks for this - I managed to get the three real media files. Pity the quality is so poor :(

The ones from specific years in the 80's were only an index to the file for the whole 80's.
